Mixing refers to the process of editing and combining multiple recorded tracks in musical ways to produce a stereo product.

Mastering is the process of combining your mixed songs to commercial quality. There are a number of steps involved in this process like trimming the ins and outs of each song, determining the spacing between songs, providing commercial levels for each of the songs in your project and relative levels of songs within the project.
